Zhenya & Ul in Kazan!!

Meanwhile, darling Ul made her debut as a commentator for the group competition (alongside Elena Sherbina)!  Congratulations!!  (And congrats to my group girls for winning the all-around, and to Rita and Sasha for placing 1st and 2nd in the individual competition!!)

      Sighh...unfortunately she does seem to take after her dad...though I'm hoping that maybe she'll be like Shumilova and start coaching and then get back in shape!!

    Megawatt smile? That's not what's powering the light you know, that's not how it works. It's in fact powered by a great big power station, burning its way through the stockpile of food that Madame V. hid from her when she was competing. (Minus the chocolates of course. V. has a very sweet tooth)
